We had some errors in the server configurations (after migrating the data to our new location at Strijp-S), which triggered the announcement of a new BCE Game. In this unfortunate event the game server was triggered to send out a message that the BCE game has started again. This is NOT the case. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Dear all, today we officially announce that Laeland Enterprises has fully acquired Gouranga Studios. The name Gouranga Studios will still be used for gaming projects and the experimental nature of the games. However all projects and products will be now be handled by our new partner 'Afdeling Buitengewone Zaken'.
The BCE Tycoon challenge of the fall 2011 has officially ended. We thank all the players for the participation. The Brabant Center of Entrepreneurship will handle all further communications about the prizes. Additionally the best players will (again) be listed on this site, which shows the final results of the best players. All the daily winners and of course the winners of the iPads, congratulations with your prize!
As of this week, the Gouranga Studios are now situated at the 'Apparatenfabriek' on Strijp-S! We had already left our former office building, the MultiMedia Paviljoen at the Eindhoven University of Technology campus, a couple of months ago. The new space is much larger (100 m2), and in a much more creative environment.
Just a quick note: the new version of BCE Tycoon is now available for download. Make sure to read the instructions and register for the game which can be played from Monday October 3rd until Friday October 21st. A new version of the BCE Tycoon game will be released very soon this month. In this version both students of the Eindhoven University of Technology and Tilburg University will compete for an iPad2. In total there will be 4 iPads available; one for the best female contestant of the TU/e, one for the best male contestant of the TU/e, one for the best female contestant of the TiU and one for the best male contestant of the TiU! Make sure you check this site for updates (and perhaps some hints).

By the way.. this first post on the front page may seem as this is just another blog.. Well it isn't. After trying starting several blogs (each time was for real!), I simply found out that it is not the way this is gonna work. Therefore updates of Gouranga Studios will be nice and irregular. Whenever someone of the crew feels the need to show off their newest toy, tool or experiment, you can find it here!
